Bandipora: The annual Maha-Dhyaneshwar Yatra in District Bandipore, popularly known as the Chota Amarnath Yatra, is scheduled to commence tomorrow, August 19th, 2024 on the auspicious occassion of ‘Shravan Poornima’.
The pilgrimage will begin early in the morning at 5AM from Kaloosa, proceeding through Arin and Dardpora village before reaching the sacred Dhyaneshwar Cave.
Today, during a press conference, the coordinator of the yatra briefed the media on the preparations and arrangements for this year’s pilgrimage. He highlighted the extensive measures taken by the organizing committee, in collaboration with local authorities, to ensure a smooth and safe yatra. He further emphasized the significance of this pilgrimage, which draws devotees not only from the Kashmir Valley but also from different parts of the country.
The yatra is expected to see a large turnout of pilgrims this year, reflecting its growing spiritual and cultural importance. Enhanced security, medical facilities, and logistical arrangements have been put in place to accommodate the influx of yatris and ensure their safety.
The coordinator also expressed gratitude to the local community for their continued support and cooperation in organizing the yatra. The event symbolizes unity and devotion as people from diverse backgrounds come together in a collective spiritual experience. (News Vibes of India)
