New Delhi (NVI): The weather has changed in the plains of North India including Delhi due to which the national capital witnessed a sunny morning today.
Delhi and NCR region saw a slight decrease in minimum temperature to 10 degrees Celsius from 12.4 degrees Celsius recorded yesterday.
The maximum temperature today is expected to be around 26 degrees Celsius, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
But still, rains have not ceased at many places in Haryana, Punjab, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan, as a new western disturbance is approaching the mountains of North India by today evening.
It will also be a fairly effective western disturbance, according to SkymetWeather.
The last western disturbance gave way to rain from the mountains to the plains. Similar activities will also be seen due to the upcoming Western Disturbance.
It is estimated that rains may begin over northwest Rajasthan and western Punjab from the night of March 10. Gradually rainy weather will be seen over Haryana and other plains of North India.
Rains will taper from Delhi and NCR and North Rajasthan on March 12 but may continue in north Punjab and Haryana with good intensity.
