Srinagar, July 26 (NVI):Prominent singer Anuradha Paudwal, on a visit to Kashmir, shared her joy on being part of the region’s positive changes.
She highlighted the widespread influence of Bollywood, comparing it to water that reaches everywhere, and noted the sense of unity it brings. Paudwal emphasized the importance of maintaining brotherhood, akin to how music connects people universally.
Anuradha Paudwal visited Kashmir to support her Suryodaya Foundation‘s, Hearing Aid donation camp. The Suryodaya Foundation was created with the intent to help as many people as possible suffering from deafness/hear loss.
But, Anuradha says she cannot turn away someone in need of help, which is the primary reason, the foundation does not focus on a single cause, but dips its toes into diverse social and economic segments.
Paudwal reflected on Kashmir’s troubled past, marked by terrorism after 1990, and praised the significant turnaround following the central government’s abrogation of Articles 370 and 35A on August 4, 2019. She credited this move with restoring peace and prosperity to the region, which is now experiencing a tourism boom and renewed interest from the film industry. The successful G20 summit and record-breaking tourist numbers signify Kashmir’s revival, with the peaceful Shiri Amarnath Yatra since 2019 further illustrating this progress.
Paudwal’s visit and the Suryodaya Foundation’s initiatives are seen as key contributions to the region’s ongoing positive transformation. (News Vibes of India)
