Srinagar, Aug 24 (NVI): The Jammu and Kashmir Apni Party, (JKAP) has announced the assembly mandate for Maharaj Krishan Yogi for the 46-Shangus-Anantnag East constituency.
The decision, according to the News Vibes of India—(NVI) came after a recommendation from Mohammad Dilawar Mir, Chairman of the Parliamentary Affairs Committee, which was then approved by the Party President, Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari.
M.K.Yogi is a prominent face of Kashmiri Pandit community. Before joining Apni Party, he was associated with National Conference as Incharge Minority wing & with Aam Aadmi Party for a shorter period.
Equally, the announcement indicated that the party would not back down in its effort to shore up its bases in the region, in anticipation of forthcoming elections.—(NVI)
