Army chief to visit Jammu to review security situation

Srinagar, July 20 (NVI) : Chief of the Army Staff(COAS), Gen Upendra Dwivedi will be visiting Jammu to review security situation  with all senior officials. He is also likely to visit the spot and forward location’s.

Officials told News Vibes of India—(NVI) that COAS General Upendra Dwivedi is set to review the security situation in Jammu today with all senior officials.

This significant visit aims to assess and strengthen security measures in the region after the Doda attack and encounters, he said.

General Dwivedi is also expected to visit the site of the recent incidents and forward locations to get a firsthand understanding of the current conditions.

During his visit, General Dwivedi will hold high-level meetings with key officials to discuss ongoing operations, strategies to counter threats, and ways to enhance the overall security framework in Jammu.

Official said that the visit comes amid heightened concerns over security in the region, and the COAS’s presence is likely to boost the morale of the forces and ensure that the necessary measures are being implemented effectively.      (News Vibes of India)
