New Delhi (NVI): Amid face-off with China, Army Chief Gen MM Naravane today visited Army formations in Tezpur (Assam). He interacted with all Corps Commanders of Eastern Command in Tezpur and reviewed prevailing security situation and operational preparedness in the Eastern Theatre.
At the Gajraj Corps Headquarters in Tezpur, Lieutenant General Anil Chauhan, the General Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Eastern Command briefed the COAS on various operational and administrative aspects.
“He was appreciative of the efforts by our soldiers in safeguarding the territorial integrity of the Nation and encouraged all ranks to keep up the high state of alertness and professionalism displayed by them,” the Army said in an official statement.
The Army Chief is scheduled to arrive at Lucknow tomorrow to visit HQ Central Command.
