Jammu, Apr 17 (NVI): Army Jawan allegedly died by suicide using his service rifle under mysterious circumstances at Padder area of Kisthwar Jammu division on Friday.
Official sources that the Jawan a resident of Takaliwadi, Tehsil Shirol in Maharashtra’s Kolhapur district.
They said that given the sensitivity of the case involving loss of human life, inquest proceedings have been initiated under Section 194 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS).
Further investigation is underway to ascertain the circumstances surrounding the incident.(NVI)
