Poonch, Mar 14 (NVI): An Army Junior Commissioned Officer (JCO) died after suffering a heart attack while on duty in the Surankote area of Poonch district on Saturday, officials said.
The deceased has been identified as Subedar Sandeep Kumar Dhaka, who was posted with 61 Rashtriya Rifles (RR). He reportedly suffered a sudden heart attack while performing his duties.
Following the incident, he was immediately rushed to the Military Hospital Potha for treatment, where doctors declared him brought dead.
Later, the body was shifted to Sub-District Hospital (SDH) Surankote for further medico-legal formalities.(NVI)
