Army to add 400 beds to its Covid facility at Delhi Base Hospital in next 1 week

New Delhi (NVI) Indian Army has decided to add 400 beds to its exclusive and newly created Covid-19 facility at Base Hospital in Delhi Cantt over next week.

The Army has created an additional 250 bedded COVID-Care facility in Delhi Cantt for serving personnel, according to Col. Aman Anand, Army PRO.

Pertinent to mention here that Base Hospital Delhi Cantt (BHDC) is being converted into an exclusive Covid facility for Indian Armed Forces and veterans from today, the Army had said in a tweet on Tuesday. It said that all OPDs (Outpatient Departments) will shift and function at Army’s Research and Referral (R&R) hospital from April 22.

The Army had further saud that “SeHAT OPD”, an online Triservice Teleconsultation Service is functional for all serving personnel of the armed forces, the veterans and their dependents to provide healthcare. “For ailments and prescriptions for continuation of medications log in to http://sehatopd.in,” it said in another tweet.
