Srinagar, Mar 28 (NVI): The District Administration Ganderbal has issued a public advisory warning of a possible avalanche threat in the district over the next 24 hours.
According to the advisory, a copy of which lies with News Vibes of India (NVI), the avalanche forecast has indicated a medium intensity risk above 2400 meters, prompting authorities to call for heightened alertness among the public.
The administration has advised people to avoid visiting vulnerable locations, including higher reaches, snowbound slopes, and hilly areas, until the situation is reviewed. Residents, tourists, and nomadic populations have been urged to strictly follow official instructions to prevent any untoward incidents.
