Balochistan: BLA claims attack in Mand, says 2 soldiers killed

Quetta, Sep 5 (NVI) Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) tonight claimed responsibility for an attack on occupying Pakistani Army personnel in Mand in Balochistan and said 2 military personnel were killed in the assault.

BLA freedom fighters carried out an armed attack  on two military personnel when they were patrolling on a motorcycle in Koh Pusht Gayab area of Mand today, its spokesman Jeeyand Baloch said in a statement.

Both enemy army personnel, Sepoy Jamil Ahmed and Azizullah were eliminated and their weapons were seized, he added.

He said BLA freedom fighters also carried out a hand grenade attack on new Saryab Police Station last night, resulting in casualties among police personnel and significant property damage.

Freedom fighters also engaged occupying army and a transport company involved in facilitating enemy logistics, in three separate operations in Quetta, Kalat and Mastung, he said. (NVI)
