Quetta, Mar 6: Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) tonight said it has killed 14 personnel of the Pakistan Army and affiliated forces and seized police stations and weapons in 14 attacks at several places in occupied Balochistan.

BLA fighters targeted the occupying Pakistani army, its auxiliary forces, and so-called ‘death squads’ in 14 different operations across Kolwah, Mastung, Surab, Turbat, Sami, and Dasht districts of Balochistan, said its spokesman Jeeyand Baloch in a statement.

The ‘death squads’ comprise militiamen propped up and supported by the Pakistani military.

At least 14 personnel of these forces were killed in these attacks, he said.

He said the BLA fighters also seized control of various police stations and detained personnel.

During these operations, BLA fighters also set up blockades on main highways and conducted snap-checking for several hours, the spokesman said.

“These operations are a continuation of the defensive strategy aimed at the total termination of Pakistan’s unnatural occupation of Balochistan.

“The intensity of attacks on the enemy’s military installations, its local facilitators, and exploitative projects will be further increased over time,” he said.

The spokesman reiterated that the occupying Pakistani army and all its military and economic interests are the direct targets of the BLA.

He shared the following details:

February 16: In the Belor area of Kolwah, the BLA targeted infantry troops and a vehicular convoy of the occupying Pakistani army while they were attempting to advance in the area. One personnel was killed on the spot and two others were injured as a result of the attack.

February 24: In the Gurgina area of Mastung, BLA sarmachars launched an ambush on the occupying forces attempting an overnight advance, forcing the enemy to retreat. The following day, the occupation army made another attempt to advance, which was again targeted. In both these clashes, four occupation army personnel were killed and at least seven were injured.

February 26: In Surab, a blockade and snap-checking were maintained on the Quetta-Karachi main highway for several hours. During this period, the occupation army and the so-called CTD attempted to interfere, upon which sarmachars targeted a CTD armored vehicle with a remote-controlled IED. The explosion destroyed the vehicle and killed one personnel.

On the same day, complete control was established over a police station at Kalatuk in Turbat, Kech. Sarmachars took possession of the weapons and other military equipment present there and subsequently destroyed a surveillance tower at the station with explosives. During this operation, a two-hour blockade was maintained on the highway. The occupation army attempted to advance in armored vehicles but was repulsed by intense attacks from the sarmachars.

March 1: Occupying forces attempting an advance in the Kardgap area of Mastung were targeted, resulting in heavy personnel and material losses for the enemy.

On the same day, in the Navano area of Buleda, a vehicle that was part of the occupying forces’ convoy was targeted in an IED attack, resulting in casualties for the enemy.

March 3: A blockade and snap-checking were conducted for over two hours on the main highway at Nodz, near Turbat. During this time, the occupation army, accompanied by a so-called death squad, attempted to intervene in the form of a convoy. BLA sarmachars launched a direct attack, heavily damaging an armored vehicle and two motorcycles, and killing three personnel on the spot.

That same night, sarmachars of the ‘Special Tactical Operations Squad’ (STOS), equipped with modern weapons and thermal scopes, ambushed an occupation army convoy in the Nasirabad area of Turbat. Three vehicles, including an armored one, were directly hit, resulting in the death of five personnel and injuring several others.

On the same day, several rockets were fired at a Pakistan army post in Sami (Kalg), Kech. The rockets successfully hit their targets, causing personnel and material losses to the enemy.

March 4: On the CPEC route in the Haftari area of Sami, a vehicle in an occupation army convoy was targeted with a remote-controlled IED, killing and injuring several personnel. On the same day, a military post in Dasht (Kadan) was also targeted with heavy weapons.

Additionally, hand grenade attacks were carried out against an occupation army post at Education Chowk in Turbat city and a customs office in Pasni city.

“The BLA is fully cognizant of its national responsibilities, and this armed resistance will continue uninterrupted until the achievement of complete independence for Balochistan,” the spokesman said.(NVI)
