Quetta, Sep 13 (NVI) Resorting to a critical war tactic, Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) is increasingly targeting the supplies meant for the Pakistani military in addition to the attacks on the personnel and assets of the occupying forces in Balochistan.
In such an operation, BLA fighters seized a vehicle carrying rations for the Pakistan Army along with other supplies in Mand area of Kech district on Thursday.
BLA spokesman Jeeyand Baloch said the driver of the vehicle has been arrested and is undergoing interrogation.
Targeting supply lines of the enemy is a crucial tactic of a war of the like BLA is engaged with against the Pakistani military which is illegally occupying Balochistan.
Prior to that, BLA freedom fighters conducted a blockade of the main highway in the Bibi Nani area of Bolan district the previous night.
During the blockade which lasted for more than two hours, the fighters carried out snap checking of vehicles to look for Pakistani forces’ personnel and agents.
In another operation, BLA fighters ambushed a patrol party of Pakistan Army, killing one soldier on the spot and injuring two others in Sekhri area of Kalat district.
The patrol party was moving towards their vehicle which had been destroyed in an attack by the BLA fighters a day earlier, the spokesman said.
Likewise, BLA fighters also targeted on-foot enemy personnel by detonating a remote-controlled IED in the Makai area of Kalat district, resulting in killing of one enemy personnel elimination and injury to another. (NVI)
