Baramulla Human Trafficking case : Two more accused arrested, three minors rescued

Srinagar, July 22 (NVI):- In Baramulla human trafficking case, two more accused have been arrested while three more minors were rescued.

Police in a statement to News Vibes of India—(NVI) said that during further investigation of case FIR No. 173/2024 under relevant sections of law registered in PS Baramulla, it was found that one Ghulam Mohammad Khan, son of Ab Rehman, resident of Narbal and Manzoor Ahmad Shah son of Gh Mohammad resident of Janbazpora, were also involved in the trafficking and exploitation of minor girls from outside the UT.

“A police party of Police Station Baramulla headed by SHO PS Baramulla, under the supervision of DySP Hqrs Baramulla, arrested the accuseds, who were shifted to Police Station Baramulla, and further recovered three minor Rohingya girls, who are from, Myanmar.” Police said.

Pertinent to mention that two accused’s from Baramulla were arrested and 4 minor rohingya females were rescued during the initial investigation of the case.
