Poonch, Sep 09 (NVI) : The residents of Behram Gala, Surankot Tehsil, Poonch district, expressed strong resentment toward the administration’s apathy regarding the restoration of their motorable bridge.
The residents, while speaking to News Vibes of India (NVI), said the bridge is crucial for connecting Behram Gala with other villages. Due to its disrepair, it is causing them significant inconvenience.
They mentioned that this has been affecting the elderly, students, and employees who are forced to use the bridge daily. “The bridge is in terrible shape. Every day, we face difficulties, especially the elderly and children,” Ahmed Khan said.
“We have raised our concerns time and again, but the authorities seem indifferent. We urge them to take immediate action,” said another resident.
Meanwhile, the locals are calling upon the District Administration to prioritize the repair of the bridge and address the public grievances. (News Vibes of India)
