Quetta, Mar 19 (NVI) “Do not let your children become fuel for the Generals of the Pakistan Army”. “Do not send them to die in Balochistan”.
These are the messages sent out by Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) to the “mothers of Punjab” Province of Pakistan after carrying out two massive attacks – Jaffar Express hijack and suicide blast on military convoy — in which it claimed to have killed 354 soldiers and injured over 100.
“You are not our enemy but if your children participate in the Baloch genocide, you will only see their bodies,” said BLA in a statement to the people of Pakistani Punjab.
“Our struggle is not driven by hatred but by love for our people and this love is the highest form of humanity…. Our struggle is not based on aggression but on the defence of the motherland,” said the outfit which is fighting militarily for independence of Balochistan from Pakistan.
Asserting that it fights solely for national defence, the BLA said it is fighting a war “imposed” on Balochistan by Pakistan “through military aggression and occupation”.
It said, “If the people of Punjab do not want bloodshed, they must rise against this murderous army and demand accountability for the blood of their children.”
Slamming the Pakistani military, the BLA said it shamelessly hides the death of soldiers who fight and give their lives for the Generals.
“You (people of Punjab) will be shocked to know that the Pakistani Army feels no pride but only shame over the death of your children. That is why Pakistan hides the bodies of its personnel,” said the statement issued by BLA spokesman Jeeyand Baloch.
Referring to the attacks on the Jaffar Express train in Bolan district and security convoy in Noshki district within a week, he said the Pakistan Army, “after suffering disastrous losses”, is “resorting to lies, deceit and propaganda to cover up its historic defeat”.
Describing the Pakistan Army as a “mercenary” force, the BLA spokesman said it hides its dead, burying them in unmarked graves so that the people do not learn the truth about its defeats and weaknesses.
On the other hand, “The entire leadership of the BLA and every soldier is always ready for martyrdom. We honor our martyrs with profound pride and dignity, immortalizing their sacrifices through national remembrance in history.” (NVI)
