Quetta: Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) tonight said it has detained 10 “suspects”, an inference to the secret agents of the occupying Pakistani military.

Fateh Squad, a special unit of Baloch Liberation Army, has detained ten suspects while acting on secret information in Quetta, said the organization’s spokesman Jeeyand Baloch in a statement.

This operation was successfully carried out by the Fateh Squad in Shaaban area, adjacent to Zarghoon area of Quetta on secret information, he said.

“The BLA Intelligence Wing had provided information that some suspects were moving suspiciously in the Shaaban area, upon which the Fateh Squad of the BLA took immediate action in the said area and detained ten suspects,” he said.

The inference to the “suspects” is to the secret agents of Pakistani military who are deployed undercover to collect information about groups like BLA.

The spokesman said the suspects are being interrogated and investigation is on.

“After the investigation is completed, the accused will be produced before the Baloch National Court, where the decision will be taken in the light of the evidence,” he said.

The decision will be communicated to the media so that the families of the accused can be informed about the progress, the spokesman added.
