Srinagar, Aug 02 (NVI): The body of girl, who had jumped into river Jehlum in Habbakadal area of Srinagar on Wednesday has been retrieved on Friday morning.
An official told News Vibes of India—(NVI) that a teenage girl (name withheld) ended her life by jumping into river jhelum in Habbakadal area of Srinagar on Wednesday.
He said soon after the incident a rescue operation was launched by SDRF and River Police Srinagar to retrieve her body and after strenuous efforts her body was recovered from Jhelum in Chatabal Srinagar on Friday.
He said that the body has been shifted to hospital for medicolegal formalities.
Meanwhile police have already started an investigation in this regard.(News Vibes of India)
