Quetta, Oct 21 (NVI) Baloch Raaji Aajoi Sangar (BRAS), an armed Baloch group which snatched control of Zehri town of Balochistan’s Khuzdar district from the occupying Pakistani military on August 11 this year, today said it has repulsed a fresh advance by the enemy, killing dozens of soldiers while losing 6 of its own men.
The occupying Pakistani army tried to advance for the purpose of aggression in the Zehri area of Khuzdar, which is under control of Baloch Raaji Aajoi Sangar, resulting in fierce clashes, its spokesman Baloch Khan said in a statement.
He said dozens of the occupying Pakistani army personnel were eliminated in these clashes, while six freedom fighters of Baloch Raaji Aajoi Sangar were martyred in defense of the motherland.
BRAS, which is a conglomerate of various armed freedom-seeking Baloch groups like Baloch Liberation Army (BLA), Baloch Liberation Front (BLF) and Baloch Republican Guards (BRG), snatched control of Zehri town from the Pakistani forces on August 11 after intense fighting and has been retaining it since then.
The Pakistani military has made several attempts, launching special operations, to regain control of this area but has failed so far.
“These clashes in Zehri are the continuation of the ongoing resistance movement in Balochistan, which has not weakened despite the oppression of occupying state, but has become more organized, coherent and ideologically mature after each martyrdom,” Baloch Khan said.
“The blood of Zehri’s martyrs is another milestone in the struggle for Baloch national liberation, which is giving this movement a new direction, a new impetus and a new history,” the spokesman said.
On this occasion, Baloch Raaji Aajoi Sangar reiterates the pledge that BLA, BLF and BRG along with Sindhudesh Revolutionary Army (SRA), will remain united and organized under the same flag of national independence beyond secondary differences, he said.
“BRAS unity is not only on the military front but also on the political and organizational level and is a symbol of the collective unity of Baloch nation, which will remain permanent despite all the conspiracies of the enemy,” the spokesman said.
He identified the martyred comrades as Hafiz Muhammad Umar Baloch, Abdul Aziz Baloch, Sanaullah Baloch, Abdul Aziz Baloch, Rashid Ahmed Baloch and Fayyaz Baloch.
The spokesman paid rich tributes to the martyred colleagues and highlighted the exemplary courage and passion they possessed for liberation of Balochistan from Pakistan. (NVI)
