Srinagar, Sep 14 (NVI) : The Meteorological Department on Monday forecast brief spells of rain and thundershowers at scattered to many places in Jammu and Kashmir over the next few days, followed by generally dry weather.
According to the MeT forecast, brief spells of rain and thundershowers are likely at scattered to many places, mainly during the early morning and afternoon hours, from September 14 to 17.
From September 18 to 25, the weather is expected to remain generally dry, with brief spells of rain possible at isolated places, the department said.
The MeT has also issued an advisory warning of thunderstorms, lightning and gusty winds at a few places between September 14 and 17.
Farmers have been advised to continue harvesting of apples and paddy and undertake other agricultural operations, the department said.—(NVI)
