New Delhi (NVI): Chief of Defence Staff General Bipin Rawat today visited Army and ITBP personnel deployed in the forward most post along Subansiri Valley on the second day of his visit to operational areas of Arunachal Pradesh.

The CDS complimented soldiers for adopting innovative measures for surveillance through locally developed technology & the defence preparedness to face any challenge.
Gen Bipin Rawat said that he was satisfied by the high morale and motivation of all ranks who will ensure certain victory if challenged or given the opportunity, the Army said in another tweet.
Yesterday, the CDS had visited forward areas of Arunachal Pradesh and took review of security situation at Line of Actual Control (LAC).
He was given a first-hand account of the operational preparedness and morale of troops deployed in the forward areas in harsh terrain and extreme weather conditions.
Gen Rawat’s visit to the forward operational areas in Arunachal along LAC comes with no let-up in border tensions between India and China.
