Srinagar, Aug 15 (NVI):- A cloudburst struck the Panward, Damhal Hanji Pora area of Kulgam district early this morning, resulting in the tragic loss of one life and injuries to three others.
The incident occurred suddenly, catching residents by surprise as heavy rainfall intensified rapidly, leading to flash floods in the region.
Emergency services, including police and civil administration teams, were quickly dispatched to the scene.
The authorities are currently engaged in rescue operations and are assessing the extent of the damage caused by the cloudburst.
The injured individuals have been transported to a nearby hospital for medical treatment, where they are reported to be in stable condition.
