Srinagar, Mar 5 (NVI): A police constable was injured after an accidental misfire from his own service rifle in Hajin area of north Kashmir’s Bandipora district on Thursday, officials said.
Officals told NVI that the injured constable has been identified as Mohd. Yousuf Lone and presently posted with SOG Hajin.
They said the constable sustained injuries after an accidental discharge from his service rifle at Hakbara Hajin while he was on duty.
The injured official was immediately shifted to Community Health Centre (CHC) Hajin for treatment, where doctors stated that his condition is stable.(NVI)
