New Delhi: India recorded 1,675 new Covid cases and 31 deaths in a span of 24 hours yesterday, the Health Ministry said today.
The country’s active caseload stood at 14,841.
With 31 more people dying in the last 24 hours, the total death toll due to the virus has gone up to 5,24,490.
Yesterday, the country reported 2,022 new Coronavirus cases and 46 deaths registered in 24 hours.
On Saturday last, 2,323 fresh Coronavirus cases and 25 fatalities, registered in the preceding 24 hours, were reported.
A day earlier, the country reported registration of 2,259 new Covid cases and 20 deaths during a span of 24 hours.
