New Delhi: The upward trajectory of Covid numbers continues in India, with 1,59,632 fresh cases being registered in the last 24 hours along with 327 deaths.
The number of reported Omicron cases across the country has gone up to 3,623 and 1,409 of them have recovered, Union Health Ministry said today.
Yesterday, 1,41,986 fresh cases were reported in last 24 hours, against 1,17,100 recorded during the preceding day.
The deaths during the previous 24-hour period were 285.
The daily positivity rate of Covid has gone up to 10.21% from 9.28% and the active cases stood at 5,90,611
The cumulative death toll due to Covid pandemic has reached 4,83,790.
On Thursday, the number of fresh single day COVID cases reported was 90,928.
