COVID-19 threatens people with heart diseases, as winter hints at a second wave

New Delhi: India registered 861 fresh Covid cases and six fatalities in the last 24 hours, the Union Health Ministry said today.

With this, the cumulative death toll across the country has reached 5,21,691 while the country’s active cases have declined to 11,058.

Nearly 929 patients have recovered in the last 24 hours, taking the cumulative recoveries to 4,25,03,383, it said.

The country’s daily positivity rate now stands at 0.32% and weekly positivity rate at 0.23%.

Yesterday, the country registered 1,054 fresh Covid cases and 29 fatalities in 24 hours.

A day prior to that, the country registered 1,150 fresh Covid cases and 83 fatalities in 24 hours.

The country registered 1,109 fresh Covid cases and 43 fatalities in 24 hours.

The country registered 1,033 fresh Covid cases and 43 fatalities during the previous 24 hours.

A day earlier, the country registered 1,086 fresh Covid cases and 71 fatalities in 24 hours.

On Tuesday morning, the country registered 795 fresh Covid cases and 58 fatalities within 24 hours.
