New Delhi: The Covid numbers in India are surging, with 33,750 new single day cases being registered in the last 24 hours.
The Omicron cases have risen to 1700, the Union Health Ministry said here today.
The country also registered 123 deaths due to Covid in the last 24 hours, taking the cumulative fatalities because of the pandemic to 4,81,893.
The number if active Covid cases stood at 1,45,582.
Omicron cases in the country rose to 1700.
Maharashtra recorded the maximum Omicron cases of 510, followed by 351 in Delhi and 156 in Kerala.
Out of total cases 639 cases have been recorded.
