New Delhi: India registered 11,739 fresh Covid cases and 25 fatalities in the last 24 hours, Union Health Ministry said this morning.
With this, the cumulative death toll due to the pandemic since 2020 rose to 5,24,999.
The active caseload stood at 92,576, constituting 0.21% of the total Covid cases.

The recovery rate is currently at 98.58%, with 10,917 patients being recovered in the last 24 hours.
With this the cumulative recoveries across the country have reached 4,27,72,398, it said.
The country’s daily positivity rate stands at 2.59% and the weekly positivity rate is at 3.25%.

Yesterday, the country registered 15,940 fresh Covid cases and 20 fatalities in 24 hours.
A day prior to that, the country registered 17,336 cases and 13 fatalities in 24 hours.
On Thursday, the country registered 13,313 fresh Covid cases and 38 fatalities in 24 hours.
The country registered 12,249 new cases during the previous 24 hours a day earlier.
A day prior to that, the country registered 9,923 fresh Covid cases and 17 fatalities in 24 hours.
