New Delhi: India registered 2,827 new Coronavirus cases and 24 deaths in the last 24 hours, the Health Ministry said today.
With this, the cumulative death toll across the country reached 5,24,181.
The active cases stood at 19,067 while 3,230 patients recovered from the virus during this period, it said.

The country’s daily positivity rate has gone up to 0.60% and the weekly positivity rate stands at 0.72%.
During the previous day, the country recorded 2,897 cases and 54 deaths within 24 hours.

On Tuesday morning, the country registered 2,288 new Covid cases and 10 deaths during 24 hours.
A day prior to that, the government reported 3,207 fresh Covid cases and 29 deaths registered in the preceding 24 hours.
During the preceding 24 hours of Sunday, the country recorded 3,451 new Covid cases and 40 deaths.
