New Delhi: India registered 13,615 fresh Covid cases and 20 fatalities in the last 24 hours, Union Health Ministry said this morning.
With this, the cumulative death toll due to the pandemic since 2020 rose to 5,25,474.
The active caseload stood at 1,31,043 constituting 0.30% of the total Covid cases.
The recovery rate is currently at 98.50%, with 13,265 patients being recovered in the last 24 hours, the ministry said.
With this the cumulative recoveries across the country have reached 4,29,96,427, it said.
The country’s daily positivity rate stands at 3.23% and the weekly positivity rate is at 4.24%.
Nearly 4,21,292 tests have been conducted in the last 24 hours, the Ministry said.
Yesterday, the country registered 16,678 fresh Covid cases and 26 fatalities in 24 hours.
A day prior to that, the country registered 18,257 new cases in 24 hours.
