New Delhi (NVI): In the next few days, the maximum temperature is likely to increase by four to six degrees Celsius above normal in Delhi, according to IMD.
The Indian Metrological Department said that the minimum temperature will also rise by two to three degrees Celsius over the next 3 days in the national capital.
As per the Safdarjung observatory, the maximum temperature in Delhi settled at 31.6 degrees Celsius today, four degrees above normal and minimum temperature was 15 degrees Celsius two degrees above normal.
The maximum temperature in the national capital is likely to settle at 35 degrees Celsius in coming week.
Furthermore, the Met department also forecasts that light rain is expected in Delhi-NCR on March 7 under the influence of a fresh western disturbance affecting the Himalayan region.
However, these weather conditions will significantly improve after March 8 but another system will approach between 10 and 12 March.
Apart from this, Gujarat, Maharashtra, parts of Rajasthan, parts of southern states and northeastern states will also witness maximum temperature at 35-39 degree Celcius in coming week, IMD’s bulletin said.
