Dharmendra Pradhan tests Covid positive

New Delhi (NVI): Union Petroleum Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has joined a growing list of political leaders who have been tested positive for novel coronavirus. The minister has been hospitalised.

Pradhan took to Twitter today to say that he has been diagnosed with the virus and he was getting admitted to a hospital on the advice of doctors.

“After noticing the symptoms, I got myself tested for COVID-19. The report is positive. I am healthy but, on the advice of doctors, I have hospitalised myself,” he tweeted.

On Sunday, Union Home Minister said that he has been tested positive for corona. Tamil Nadu Governor Banwarilal Purohit was also tested positive for the virus the same day.

Apart from Shah and Pradhan, Karnataka Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa and Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan have also tested positive for the virus.
