Doda, July 16 (NVI): Four soldiers who were injured during gunfight between terrorists and security forces at Desa forest area of Doda district Jammu division on Monday have succumbed to injuries.
Official sources told News Vibes of India—(NVI) that four soldiers and a policeman of special operation group received injuries in an ongoing operation in Desa who were hospitalized.
Encounter had started between terrorists and security forces on Monday evening at Desa forest of Doda, operation is going on.
Operation was started on specific input about the presence of Terrorists in the area who opened fire on joint team of forces that was heavily retaliated.
They said that during initial exchange of fire five security personnel were injured who all were hospitalized where four soldiers including officer succumbed to injuries while cop is being treated.
They said additional forces have been rushed to the spot while search operation is on in the area.
