Jammu: The Jammu Airport was the target of drone attacks, which caused two minor explosions past midnight and left two Indian Air Force personnel with minor injuries without causing any damage to the equipment there, officials said.
The explosions took place at around 1.30 am in the technical area of the airport, the officials said.
The blasts caused some damage to a roof of a building and two IAF personnel suffered minor injuries, the officials said.
Initial indications pointed to the use of drones for dropping of the bombs.
A thorough investigation has been launched, with terror angle in mind.
Top officials of the Air Force, including Western Air Commander, have rushed to the scene to assess the situation, the officials said.
Meanwhile, a terrorist was arrested in Narwal area of Jammu early this morning and an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) was recovered from him, police said.
Further probe is underway.
