New Delhi (NVI): The Election Commission of India here on November 1 announced the polling dates for Jharkhand Legislative Assembly elections.
The elections to the 81 seats will be held in five phases starting from November 30 and the counting will take place on December 23.
The voting for Phase 2 and Phase 3 to be held on December 7 and 12, respectively. Whereas, Phase 4 and Phase 5 would be held on December 20 and 23, respectively.
With this announcement, the Model Code of Conduct comes into force in the state.
