New Delhi (NVI): State-run Energy Efficiency Services Limited (EESL) today signed an agreement with EIH Limited- The Oberoi Group to implement energy efficient and clean energy initiatives across their properties including Oberoi Group hotels.
The MoU has been signed under EESL’s vision to ramp up energy efficiency and consumer safety in the hospitality sector.
“Through this partnership, we’ll explore synergy in deploying measures that can usher in energy efficiency, emission reduction & pathogen control in various properties of The Oberoi Group,” EESL said in a tweet.

EESL, a joint venture of power PSUs under the Ministry of Power, is engaged in implementing energy efficient and sustainability initiatives across the country through its innovative projects.
Earlier this week, EESL had signed an agreement with a Science and Technology university in Haryana’s Faridabad to promote energy efficiency initiatives for research and innovation. The pact was signed with JC Bose University of Science and Technology, YMCA in Faridabad city.
