Electric motorcycle launched in India

Hyderabad: India’s leading electric two-wheeler company HOP Electric today announced the launch of its innovative electric motorcycle – HOP OXO.

Combining sustainability, performance and affordability, the motorcycle has a top speed of 90-95 Kmph and a true range of 135-150 Kms, the company said in a statement here.

The HOP OXO is powered by an advanced Lithium-ion High Performance Battery, with an installed capacity of 3.75 Kwh, and a smart charger of 850W with a charging time of 0-80% in 4 hours, the company said.

The launch was announced at the Hyderabad E-Motor Show, organised by the Government of Telangana.

HOP Electric’s Co-founder Nikhil Bhatia said, “We are excited about Formula E coming to India and believe that HOP OXO will play a crucial role in promoting electric mobility in the country.”

HOP has a line-up of electric 2-wheelers consisting of two e-scooters – HOP LEO & HOP LYF offered in three variants each.

The brand plans to expand its footprint across India and launch at least 10 new products in the next three years.
