Srinagar, Aug 10 (NVI) : A gunfight has started between a group of terrorists and security forces in Ahlan area of South Kashmir’s Anantnag district.
A police official said a joint team of Jammu and Kashmir Police and Army launched a cordon and search operation in Ahlan in Kokernag.
As the joint team of forces approached towards the suspected spot, the hiding terrorists fired upon the forces, triggering off a gunfight, he said.
