Gurez, Oct 13 (NVI): Several shopsand a residential house were damaged in a fire incident that broke out in Dawar area of Gurez in north Kashmir’s Bandipora district on Sunday late evening.
Locals said that the fire started in one of the shops and quickly spread to nearby shops. The Fire and Emergency Services Department responded promptly to the scene, they said.
“Firefighters, police, and local residents are working to control the situation,” the locals said, adding that so far at least seven shops and a residential house was damaged in the fire. (News Vibes of india)
