First- Ever Camp on Career Opportunities for Differently Abled organised in Dehradun

Dehradun: A good number of differently abled youth turned up at the first of its kind camp on career opportunities organised by National Career Service Centre for Differently Abled at Regional Employment office here.

Additional Secretary Ministry of Labour and Employment, Government of India Sashank Goyal along with Senior Officers enlightened the participants on various career opportunities available to differently abled and the role of  newly set up unit of National Career Service Centre for Differently Abled in Dehradun in facilitating the same.

Deputy Chief Labour Commissioner Sushil Kumar  too attended the meeting held on Friday and answered the questions related to legal issues  concerning employment of differently abled.

Deputy Director Employment and Training Chandrakanta informed the participants about training schemes for differently abled persons seeking employment.

Regional Employment Officer  Ajay Singh discussed employment opportunities available to differently abled persons.

Additional Secretary Ministry of Labour and Employment also reviewed the functioning of the newly set up unit of NCSC for DA at Dehradun.
