Four J&K Police Officers Deputed to Saudi Arabia for Haj-2026 Duties

Srinagar, Apr 2 (NVI): The Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha has ordered the relieving of four police officers for temporary deputation to the Consulate General of India in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, to serve as Haj Officers and Haj Superintendents for Haj-2026.

According to Government Order No. 201-Home of 2026 dated April 2 The decision follows their selection by the Haj Committee of India.

The officers deputed include Peerzada Aijaz Ahmad (SP), Mohd Muzaffar Jan (SP), Shahzada Kabir Matoo (SP) and Burhan Ul Haq Kanth (DySP).

As per the order, the officers shall be relieved with effect from April 6, 2026, to enable them to take up their assignments at the Consulate General of India in Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. (NVI)
