New Delhi (NVI) The Covid numbers showed further decline in the country, with 2,63,533 new cases being recorded along with 4,329 deaths in the last 24 hours, according to Union Health Ministry today.
The total death toll now stands at 2,78,719 and the cumulative active cases are 33,53,765, it said.
India reported a major reduction in the daily Covid numbers yesterday, with 2,81,386 new cases being recorded in the previous 24 hours against 3,11,170 cases a day earlier.
The death toll during a period of 24 hours reported yesterday was 4,106 against 4,077 recorded in the previous 24 hours, according to the Union Health Ministry.
On Saturday last, 3,26,098 new COVID cases were reported along with 3,890 deaths during a period of 24 hours.
The previous day, the country reported 3,43,144 new Covid cases and 4,000 deaths in 24 hours.
A day earlier, 3,62,727 new COVID cases and 4,120 deaths were reported in the country during a span of 24 hours.
