Srinagar, Apr 3 (NVI): The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Friday welcomed the decision to initiate a magisterial enquiry into the concerns raised by the family of the individual killed in the Arhama encounter in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district of Kashmir a few days back.
The BJP Media Incharge Kashmir, Adv Sajid Yousuf Shah, termed the move as “constructive and necessary,” emphasizing the need for a transparent and impartial investigation.
He said the enquiry must be conducted in a fair and time-bound manner, asserting that ensuring accountability and upholding justice would strengthen public trust and reaffirm confidence in due process.
Shah further stressed that such steps are vital to maintaining institutional credibility and addressing public concerns effectively.(NVI)
