New Delhi (NVI): Ghulam Nabi Azad, the Leader of Opposition in Rajya Sabha and veteran Congress leader, has tested positive for the novel coronavirus and has gone under home quarantine.
Azad, 71, confirmed on Twitter that he has contracted the viral disease and also requested people who came in contact with him in the last few days to follow Covid-19 safety protocol.
“I have tested positive for COVID-19. I am in home quarantine. Those who came in contact with me in last few days may kindly follow the protocol,” he tweeted.

Earlier, several other senior Congress leaders like Ahmed Patel, Motilal Vora and Abhishek Singhvi had tested positive for COVID-19.
