New Delhi (NVI): The total number of coronavirus cases worldwide have crossed 116.4 million, while over 2.58 million deaths have been reported due to the pandemic so far, according to US-based Johns Hopkins University.
At present, the global caseload stands at 116,468,157 and the death toll stands at 2,586,872, as per the Johns Hopkins University’s Center for Systems Science and Engineering (CSSE).
The US is the worst-hit country in the world with 28,949,592 cases and 5,24,262, deaths. India stands at second place, with 11,210,799 total cases and 1,57,756 deaths.
Brazil has the second highest number of deaths with over 2,63,000 fatalities and its Covid-19 caseload stands at 10,938,836.
