New Delhi: India would not see any respite from rising temperatures as the heatwave conditions continue to prevail over several parts of the country for next three days.
According to India Meteorological Department (IMD), “Spatial extent and intensity of heatwave spell likely to reduce over Northwest India from April 13 and continue over Madhya Pradesh during next 5 days.”
“Heat Wave conditions in many parts with severe heatwave conditions in isolated pockets very likely over Rajasthan from today to April 15, the IMD said.
Many parts of Haryana, Delhi and Punjab are also likely to heatwave to severe heatwave conditions during the next 24 hours and heatwave to severe heatwave conditions in isolated pockets over the same region tomorrow.
The IMD further predicted that there will be no significant change likely in maximum temperatures over most parts of Northwest India today, gradual fall by 2-30C likely during next 3 days and increase thereafter.

most parts of Gujarat during the next 3 days and gradual rise by 2-30C thereafter, the IMD said.

The IMD further predicted no significant change in maximum temperatures over most parts of Northwest India today, gradual fall by 2-30C likely during next 3 days and increase thereafter.

No significant change in maximum temperatures is very likely over the rest parts of the country, it added.
As per IMD, “Assam- Meghalaya & Kerala- Mahe are expected to witness heavy rainfall spell over the next 5 days, thus the maximum temperatures over most parts of East India will fall by 2-30C thereafter.”
“Heavy rainfall spell likely to continue over Arunachal Pradesh during April 13th to 15th; over Nagaland-Manipur- Mizoram-Tripura on 11th, 13th, 14th & 15th and over Tamil Nadu, Puducherry & Karaikal on 11th & 12th April 2022,” the IMD said.
