New Delhi: The Covid numbers in India saw a huge jump, with 58,097 new cases along with 534 deaths being reported in the last 24 hours.
It’s almost an increase of 21,000 cases as 37,379 fresh COVID cases were registered in the previous 24 hours.
The deaths also saw a massive increase from124 reported in the previous 24 hours.
The daily positivity rate has increased to 4.18% from 3.24% recorded the previous day.
The total active cases stood at 2,14,004 while the total recoveries were 3,43,21,803.
The cumulative death toll due to Covid, since its start, has gone up to 4,82,551.
On Monday, 33,750 cases were reported in the preceding 24 hours.
