Kishtwar, Apr 24 (NVI): The Indian Air Force (IAF) on Friday dismissed reports circulating in sections of media and social media claiming that an IAF aircraft had crashed near Kishtwar in Jammu and Kashmir, calling them “false.”
In an official statement, an IAF spokesperson clarified that no such incident has occurred and urged media organisations to exercise caution.
“There are certain media outlets and social media handles claiming that an IAF aircraft has crashed near Kishtwar. This report is false,” the spokesperson said.
The IAF further advised all media platforms to verify information from official sources before publishing or broadcasting any such claims to avoid spreading misinformation.(NVI)
