New Delhi (NVI) As military faceoff with China continues on the Line of Actual Control (LAC), Vice Chief of Air Staff Air Marshal Harjit Singh Arora today visited forward air bases in Ladakh sector of Western Air Command (WAC) and reviewed the operational preparedness at these bases.
The Vice Chief interacted with air warriors of the combat units currently operating at these locations. He was briefed about the operational readiness of IAF assets deployed in the area.
The visit assumes significance as China is refusing to pull back its troops in the Ladakh sector creating an eyeball-to-eyeball situation there.
The Air Marshal urged all air warriors and other personnel to continue discharging their duties with utmost sincerity and ensure a high state of combat readiness at all times.
During the visit, he also flew Chinook and Light Combat Helicopter.
