New Delhi (NVI): The Council for The Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) board today announced that it will be conducting ISC board examinations for class 12 from April 8 to June 16 and for class 10 from May 5 to June 7.
Class 12 exams will begin on April 8 with Computer Science (Practical)-Planning Session, the board said. It will be a 90-minutes paper, instead of three hours scheduled for other subjects starting April 9, it said.
Pertinent to mention here that board exams had been cancelled last year due to the coronavirus pandemic and students were evaluated on the basis of internal assessment.
Earlier, the Central Board Of Secondary Education (CBSE) had announced the dates for its board examinations last month. The CBSE board exam for Class X and XII will begin on May 4. While Class X exams will end on June 7, Class XII exams will finish on June 11. Practical exams have already begun from today (March 1).
In the 74th edition of his Mann Ki Baat monthly radio programme yesterday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had wished students ahead of their exams and said that they should “become a warrior, not a worrier.”
